AURA Swap Instructions

Since 2019, AURA tokens can be swapped to IDEX tokens. There's no deadline for the swap.

ATTENTION: THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO SWAP AURA TOKENS. SENDING AURA TOKENS TO A SMART CONTRACT WILL RESULT IN THE TOKENS BEING LOST.

The following steps document swapping AURA tokens for IDEX tokens on the Ethereum mainnet using MyEtherWallet.

Step 1 - Approve

• Load https://www.myetherwallet.com/wallet/interact unlock your wallet if necessary. Make sure to select the Ethereum network.

• Leave the “Contract Type” field blank. Into the Contract Address field, enter the AURA contract address: 0xCdCFc0f66c522Fd086A1b725ea3c0Eeb9F9e8814

• Into the ABI/JSON Interface field, copy the the “Contract ABI” code from the contract: https://etherscan.io/address/0xcdcfc0f66c522fd086a1b725ea3c0eeb9f9e8814#code

• Click the “Interact” button to continue.

• Select approve from the drop down on the right.

• Into the _spender field, enter the IDEX contract address: 0xB705268213D593B8FD88d3FDEFF93AFF5CbDcfAE

• Into the _value field, enter the desired amount of tokens to be swapped. Note the amount needs to include the full precision, so 10 AURA would be 10000000000000000000. Make sure there are no spaces before or after the number, or the button will get disabled.

• Write/sign the transaction.

Step 2 — Swap

• Load https://www.myetherwallet.com/wallet/interact.

• Copy the IDEX contract address and ABI into the respective fields: 0xB705268213D593B8FD88d3FDEFF93AFF5CbDcfAE https://etherscan.io/address/0xb705268213d593b8fd88d3fdeff93aff5cbdcfae#code

• Click the “Interact” button to continue.

• Select swap from the drop down on the right.

• Enter the desired number of AURA to swap in the value field. Note the amount needs to include the full precision, so 10 AURA would be 10000000000000000000.

• Write the transaction / sign with your key. The last confirming interface should look like this.

Your IDEX tokens will be sent back to you at a 1 to 1 ratio. The AURA you sent is locked forever in the IDEX token contract. You can now deposit or stake your IDEX tokens!
