Adding Polygon To Metamask

This is a short guide on how to add the Polygon Network (MATIC) to Metamask.

First, log in to Metamask (you can download it here if you don't have it already).

You can create a new wallet or import an existing one.

Once you're in, click on the drop-down menu at the top. By default it will be connected to "Ethereum Mainnet".

Select "Custom RPC" from the list and input the following parameters:

• Network Name: Polygon PoS (Matic) Mainnet

• New RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com/

• Chain ID: 137

• Currency Symbol: MATIC

• Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com

Click [Save] to add the new network. You're now connected to Polygon (MATIC).
